It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Join us for the 7th annual Festival of Lights in the Blue Earth Plaza on Friday November 29th in Manhattan, Kansas. Santa and his elves will be lighting the biggest holiday tree in Kansas at 7pm, so come on down to enjoy a hot chocolate next to the fire, listen to the music and be a part of the magic!
The spectacular tree lighting ceremony is a FREE community event which includes local choirs, holiday festivities, winter food and beverages as well as lots and lots of lights! The Festival of Lights is brought to you by local businesses, bringing together the Manhattan community to begin the holiday season.

Home to over 200 amazing animals – from anteater to zebu – Sunset Zoo in Manhattan, KS offers up-close views of amazing animals including wallaby, otters, leopards and a jumping, hooting array of primates.
